What It Means To Worship

A worshipper is one who offers reverence (respect and love) to a divine being/Spirit or supernatural power; also: an act of expressing such reverence.
Psalm 40:2-3 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth. Praise to our God; Many will see and fear (revere and worship) And will trust in the Lord.

Worshipping is a way to connect with Christ deeper than anything that is even imagineable. It is a way to be intimate with Christ without interruption! No force, no prinipality, and no spirit of darkness can keep you from your relationship/worship with your Father. With worship He hear us and is deeply connected with us. He desires our worship.

In all things we do, we must worship with our whole hearts we must offer up a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving. It's a way to show Christ how much we truly love Him. In our daily lives we must worship Him in everything we do; with each breath let it be worship to the Lord, let it be thanks to the Lord. He not only hears our worship, but feels our worship, is drawn by our worship and is connected with us on deeper levels!
Psalm 51:16-17 For you do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit and a contrite heart (purity). These, O God, You will not depise.

Our Father desires our worship HE LIVES IN OUR WORSHIP! So, worship, worshipper. He has put a new dance in your feet a new song in your mouth, make a joyful noise unto the Lord and let the timbrel sound! He is worthy. When you worship so do the angels. He has called you to be a worshipper to be intertwined in Him in new levels let your heart expound and your worship reach the depths of oceans. Worship Him in all things, in spirit and in truth! He is the author of worship. He worshiped himself when He made us, so we are made of His worship! You were born a worshipper, never cease never stop worshipping him!

Isaiah 51:1-3 "Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, You who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug. Look to Abraham your father, And to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone, and blessed him and increased him. For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.
He will fill you with His precious gift of worship, deeper and deeper!

Prayer: Lord, show me all of your ways cause my heart to be full of you place the desire in my heart to worship you more and more! Allow my heart to be open to receive you in new dimensions and higher glories! Lord reign upon my heart in all things cause me to worship you. Teach me your ways and help me to know your ways. I desire to worship you! Thank you Jesus, Amen

Where do you find your self-worth?

All things were created by him and for him" Colossians 1:16

There’s emptiness in many of us around this globe, what is the problem? We struggle with insecurity.

We are ashamed of how we look. Do you ever just feel empty, left out and rejected?
For you it may feel different, but it’s probably still there, just a big gaping hole inside. So what is it?

We are trying to find our self-esteem and worth apart from God. That hole inside of us was meant to be filled by Him! Nothing else will ever be enough.

We can try and find our worth from other things: family, friends, schoolwork, sports, our looks, attention from guys, shopping…

We can try to fill it with anything and everything, but that emptiness or voida perfect fit, and it isn’t any of those things. The perfect fit for the void inside of us is God.

We were created by him and for him, and nothing else will do. Many of us try to fill that void by looking “picture perfect”.

God created all of us to be beautiful in his eyes.

Only God can fill that hole inside of us, and we will only be truly beautiful through him. That is true beauty and true self worth.

Prayer:

Father God, thank you for being there for me. Thank you for not finding fault in little external flaws or imperfections, but looking at the true beauty of my heart. I know that that beauty is all that matters. Please help me to grow more beautiful in you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

                  Happiness is a choice !!
Are you focusing on the negative things, or are you choosing happiness? Written by Simi Akinwande There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh,  a time to mourn and a time to dance,...Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

The world portrays to us that happiness comes from what we have (money, success, relationship, beauty)  However the bible shows us that being happy is a reflection of Christ who lives in us and a gift from God, therefore to be happy is a state of mind developed from who you are. So...WHO are you? (A true form of Christ made in his image and likeness.)

You can decide how you want to feel whether it is to be happy or miserable. The choice is yours! We have all been given the freedom to choose and whatever choices we decided upon is one we must learn to live with.
some simple steps you can take towards choosing happiness:

Believe – Doubt, fear, and a lack of faith bring unhappiness. John 16:33 “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. God wants you to depend on him as it makes him happy to be of service to you.

*Be grateful – “Be of good cheer’ – A heart of gratitude speaks multitudes; you may not have all you want but at least you have what you need to get you through each day. Thank God for the little things in order to receive the great ones coming your way.

*Be of service - To know God is to serve others, this does not mean becoming a slave to another person. It simply means having pure love or a desire to help others meet their needs (which can be in form; a friend who needs someone to talk to, helping our parents with the chores, helping out at church, offering a smile to cheer someone up.

Remember that life is what you make of it; to be happy is to stay alive. To experience the happiness of living you must first beyou really are, then do what you need to do, if you are in Christ He makes all things possible.

 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Thank you for granting me with an inward happiness beyond all my problems and for giving me sound peace which comes from knowing you and spending time with you. Fill me lord with your constant love and let the eternal spirit of the Father dwell in my soul and body, so that, I can be be a light to the world and a catalyst of joy to others always. Amen.

History of Dance!!!

To worship God in dance is biblical. The Bible commends it (Psalm 149:3; 150:4). Scripture gives many references to the use of dance as a form of joyous celebration and of reverent worship.

In the Hebrew tradition, dance functioned as a medium of prayer and praise, as an expression of joy and reverence, and as a mediator between God and humanity.  This understanding of dance permeated the faith of the early Christian church.  It continued to be utilized as a medium of prayer and praise.

WHO CAN DANCE
Often, we find that praise dancers are women who have been abused, raped, or hurt sometime in their past. It isn’t the people who have it all together that God uses, it is the ones who make themselves available to Him.
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”

Loving others with the love of Christ

God has given you the wisdom and knowledge to understand His word. He has given you purpose and has placed His deepest love in you to display to others who He really is. Today, think about the last time you really loved yourself, and loved others even if they have hurt you. Allow Christ to shine His love through you completely. His love is patient, His love is kind, His love is true, and sufficent. Who can keep us from the love of Christ? Nobody! You are His instrument of love so that others may see, who are not in Him. You are important to His kingdom and He wraps you in His love daily. Not only has he given you this precious gift, but He has allowed you to share it with others.

1 John 2:5-6,10
But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also walk just as He walked... He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.

The compassion you show to others can change the way they think about life and can even save someone. The love you share with people no matter what the circumstance may be could cause someone to give their life to Christ. Love changes things just as it changed you! Jeremiah 31:3 "Yes I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you." Just has God has drawn you and has loved you with an unfailing love, you are being used to show His love to the people around you. So, Be encouraged to love your neighbor, Be encouraged to utilize God's precious gift that He has given to you. I encourage you this week to love on those who have hurt you, who you may have bickered with or a person you don't even know. Allow your heart to be open to The Lord's unchanging and everlasting love. You are important to Him which is why He uses you to show others who He really is. It's His light that shines in you and overtakes you. Let His joy overtake you this week and His glory be upon you like never before. Allow His love to pierce your heart so deeply, allow the overflow to be so great you'll have no choice, but to pour it onto others. Today, I shower you with the love of Christ. His love is perfect, beautiful, unfailing, unchanging, evertasting... And so are you because He dwells in you.
Show off God and all He is in you!

Prayer:
Lord, show me your marvelous ways and make me to know love in your image. Allow me to be an open vessel that brings souls to Christ. Father I ask that you allow me to feel your love and that it may be pourn onto others. Shine your light so that all of creation may see and be filled with your spirit! Fill them with the fruits of your spirit (Galatians 5:22). Thank you Lord for your love your joy your peace and your presence you are worthy and I honor you! I love you Jesus Amen

The Truth..... What is God’s Truth About Beauty?

"It’s not what others think about us, or even what others want us to be, but being who we were created to be. We were created by Christ, and for Christ (Colossians 1:16). We were created to have a relationship with Jesus. We were created to be co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16-17).We were created to be filled by God (Ephesians 3:19). We were created to display the splendor of God (Isaiah 61:3). What does it mean to display the splendor of God? It means that we were created to have true beauty, inner beauty. It’s sometimes easy to strive for outward beauty, because that’s what the world wants, but God wants us to have true beauty. I see my beauty radiating from the inside out. That when I love God with all my heart, soul, strength and mind (Matthew 22:37), it will naturally spill over to all my relationships and every area of my life. It’s as if God’s light and beauty is in my heart. And it is being pumped into every cell of my body, my brain, my muscles, and my organs through my bloodstream. And as long as God’s Spirit is living inside of me, I will have that beauty radiating from the inside out.

                                                                 Reflection:
Have you been settling for this world’s beauty instead of discovering your true beauty?

                                                                       Application step:
Ask God to help you change your thoughts and desires about beauty. Start focusing more on your inner self then your outward appearance.

                                                                           Prayer:
Father God, thank you for creating me. Please guide me on my path to finding my true beauty that lies in you. Help me to grow my relationship with you, to be filled by you, and display your

True Beauty

True Beauty
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.1 Peter 3:3-4 The Bible tells us that true beauty comes not from our outward physical beauty, but from our inner beauty; the beau...ty of Christ living in our hearts and shining out through us.

1 Corinthians 4:18 tells us that what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. So while the world is telling us that beauty is on the outside, the Bible tells us that true beauty is on the inside. True beauty comes from Christ in us.

Father God, Thank you for all you do for me. Thank you for teaching me what is
in your sight. Help me to put the value of my inner beauty above that of my outward appearance. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
